![]() You see, I happen to have a sweaty palm and with that – I usually avoid using mice that have rubbery texture or has rubbery surface. When I tried feeling the surface of the MOS-BL-G001U-V – I immediately notice that the mouse has a certain glossy layer which is a plus for me. The glossy white, silver and gold motif really won me over and believe it or not – I am actually finding myself starting to like the appearance of the mouse. I keep forgetting this is a CD-R King product and based on experience – an instruction manual is a rarity and its really up to you to tinker and find out what you can do with their product.Īs I turned my attention back to the MOS-BL-G001U-V – I started checking out the details of the mouse itself. It took me several seconds to realize that I should check if there’s anything else that’s inside the box – I mean after all – there’s gotta be some sort of an instruction manual that came along with the mouse, right? Wrong. Was really surprised when I finally got to see the mouse. Having that said – here’s the CD-R King BLACK MOS-BL-G001U-V Gaming Mouse. To be fair – I have bought several products from CD-R King (especially during the time when they’re just selling blank DVDs and CD-Rs) and I must say – some of them are still alive up to now… I know you’re probably going to say something so I might as well interrupt you and beat you to the punch by saying that the special keyword found in the last sentence is the word “some”, alright? “Some.” I guess by now you can imagine the rising skepticism boiling within me when CD-R King started rolling out products that were tagged “For Gaming”. As mentioned earlier – CD-R King’s products is usually sourced from OEM manufacturers based in China, Taiwan and other countries and have it branded carrying their name. Now the retail chain has expanded their product line to accommodate the ever changing local market. blank DVDs, CDs, diskettes, etc.) at dirt cheap price. Originally – CD-R King is widely known for selling recordable media (e.g. ![]() For those people who aren’t aware of CD-R King – CD-R King is a known retail store in the Philippines that sells discounted computer parts/gadgets, electronic appliances and accessories. I tried Googling around for it since the mouse is obviously an OEM product rebranded for CD-R King. I honestly don’t know how to start with this one. So – here I am – drawing first blood to the CD-R King BLACK MOS-BL-G001U-V Gaming Mouse. We wanted to know if its actually a bang for the buck or literally a bang for liability for everyone.īy now – I am sure you have already watched our mini-episode entitled “ Shopping for our LC Peripheral Review”. We wanted to see for ourselves how far we can go with these products that they were selling, especially they have tagged these products for a particular target. We bought those products by brands that normally veteran PC enthusiasts would avoid. We simply wanted to have fun, enjoy ourselves and share our passion with others. Not a single one of us have ever taken up an education pertaining to, earned a degree, and/or ever took up certifications for what we are about to do. Just as we mentioned in our About section of our homepage – we are not experts. Then we started seeing products labeled as “for Gaming” being rolled out by these “cheap” brands that were appealing to people who we knew would fall for it – people who are a bit new to the PC enthusiast scene or those people who really doesn’t have the budget to buy those known brands. Nobody in the Project Team took the dare seriously at first. We decided to take the leap since we’re doing this for the guys who doesn’t have the budget to buy those products made by known brands and instead – concede on buying stuff from brands that aren’t really famous – some even ending up getting the reputation on selling stuff that are really dirt cheap yet the quality is so sub par that later on might end up as a live grenade – a liability. When The UNLICORN Project rolled out – we were actually daring ourselves to take the leap – we wanted to do something that’s a bit different than what’s being offered in the local scene. Brands that have gathered so much cred that whenever you mention their name – you’re immediately assured that they’re the one you can depend on.With that knowledge – we tend to narrow down our choices and eventually we catalog them as the usual go-to-guys in case we need to buy new peripherals or refer them to people that we know. Normally we would see known brands being reviewed and used by passionate PC enthusiasts. I was actually part of the said project before the project was dismissed. NOTE: This write-up was actually sourced from the Project UNLICORN Team when it was still around.
